A Presentation By Misty Mersich & Jenna Behrendt
On the road to lowering our carbon footprint, we are witnessing many new organizations and efforts that are helping us on this journey. One such organization is Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE). This recently formed organization has participating jurisdictions from Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Morgan Hill, Mountain View, Saratoga, Sunnyvale and the unincorporated parts of Santa Clara County. These communities have formed a Joint Powers Agency called the Silicon Valley Clean Energy Authority which is a non-profit public agency that will oversee a Community Choice Energy (CCE) Program.
Misty Mersich and Jenna Behrendt will be presenting all the ins and outs of this new venture as well as anwering questions from our attendees. They will cover, among other things, the following:
What is Community Choice Energy?
What are the benefits for my Community?
Overview of Progress to date and Next Steps
How to Get Involved
So if you want to learn to put your money where the green is, check out this event and get started!
