A Presentration By Bill Roeder

DeAnza Energy program 1The EcoGreen Group will be closing out our summer series of events with a special program focusing on De Anza College’s Energy & Facility Management / Building Science Program. We are extremely fortunate to live in an area which fosters new ideas and new companies solving important problems in science, biology, and earth sciences. Feeding this area is a system of universities and colleges which offer a diverse educational path to students wanting to get involved.

De Anza College offers a very unique array of programs that addresses the areas of Energy Management, Facility Management, and Building Science. Bill Roeder, a faculty member at De Anza College will take us on a tour of the programs offered. This will be a great opportunity to interact with Bill who was instrumental in putting these programs together. Many aspects of the programs will be covered including:

• Energy sector metrics – jobs and opportunities• Program goals
• Student internships and externships
• Course coverage in each program
• De Anza’s accomplishments with its programs• Industry collaboration
• Living programs; changing to meet real needs
• Collaboration with organizations such as the EcoGreen Group
• And much more!

Join us for this interesting session and learn all about De Anza College’s Energy programs!
