About WaterEfficientGarden.com - A Shelkie Tao Company

shelkie tao garden smallerIn its fifth year, California is still in a drought.  The Santa Clara Valley Water District requests everyone to reduce water usage by 20%.   As more than 50% of residential water usage is consumed outdoors, letting the green go brown is one of the quickest ways to achieve the 20% target.  However, the new yard does not need to be brown; a garden full of water efficient plants can be as beautiful and enjoyable as a green lawn.

Let me know whether this will work.  Thank you so much!

Shelkie Tao's company, waterefficientgarden.com, will help the home or business owner to put in place the water efficient garden that they have been looking for. They can help with the design, plant choice, and answer all maintenance questions necessary to get the garden you need for todays drought and climate impacted environment.

Greentech Income Generation Workshop, Continued

Presentation & Exploration by Alex Mednick

For this workshop, we will focus on water and energy relationships and how to monetize and provision services that we can provide. We will look at who are the people and organizations that are involved in water and energy now or may be in the future. This includes water and energy companies, government organizations, plumbing contractors, and architects, who have a vested interest in our projects. The Grey Water issue will be a key area of concentration - how to work with these professionals and organizations to find and complete projects. To enable more effective participation, you should bring your laptop and any printed material such as, brochures, magazines, articles, and pamphlets that may help you.

Come join us for this special EcoGreen Group meeting.

Greentech Income Generation Workshop, Part 2

There are many income opportunities in the areas of green technology. This workshop will focus on how to generate income from a Green Tech Project. We will explore various ideas and perform some online research to investigate what it takes to implement a project.  This workshop will continue with examining 1 or 2 Green Tech Projects in detail to identify:

1. What is the local Problem - scope, severity, factors, causes?
2. What are possible solutions?
3. Who is involved in the solutions - organizations, customers, partners, government bodies?
4. What funding is available?

Again, bring your laptops and any relevant news  articles, brochures, links, etc. and be ready to dive in deep.

Here is an article on the Water Project we discussed as an example, Let's Filter Seawater
